Though I may be no wiser than the average person,
I wish to share thoughts, nurture conversations,
and enable changes that I believe will enhance peoples lives.
The following initiatives are in their infancy and a work in progress

A discussion about ways to improve our world
Part 1: How long-term products, efficiency, nobility, and happiness source awareness can increase our standard of quality living
Part 2: How technology can remove the need for campaign money from the election process, remove the all or nothing bundling of political party platforms, and lead to a democracy that truly represents the people
Part 3: Exploring solutions to the automation of jobs and wealth inequality
How adults and youth, as young as 6 years old, can play a sport together!
This is an initiative to help curling clubs start family curling programs using the promotional and operational materials we created for programs we operate in our city.
Large speeding vehicles risk our children’s lives
Drivers of heavier vehicles should face heavier fines when disobeying traffic laws and imposing greater risk of injury on others.
Crash test results show that heavier vehicles significantly reduce the safety of smaller vehicles in accidents and increase the risk of injury to the occupants of small vehicles. The drivers of heavier vehicles need to be further discouraged from violating traffic laws by facing larger consequences proportional to the larger risk they impose on the public.
Party Barge
A more affordable way for families to enjoy the water together.
We have built a large party barge (pontoon boat). Since we couldn’t find anything like it on YouTube, we will be sharing what we learned during this journey to help anyone who is also crazy enough to build their own boat.
Photography
In a past life, I was an award winning photographer, with clients ranging from multinational corporations to newlyweds.
For the joy of creating great images and for a personal sense of pride, I am polishing my skills and exploring all that photography has to offer.
Family Centered Care
It’s important that families feel empowered as full partners in the healthcare of a child. This leads to a greater experience for the entire family and safer outcomes for the patient.
Though I certainly did not start this initiative, it is so worth while that I spent a rewarding decade volunteering with our children’s hospital.
I sincerely encourage parents to be active within their own hospital by learning about and helping implement family centered care.
